The logical configuration of a U-plane performance test is shown in Figure 45. As with C-plane test configurations, four GbE interfaces connect the eNB (DUT) to the S1/X2-SIM. Two interfaces are used as X2-U connections, simulating the connection of two eNBs in the E-UTRAN. The other two interfaces are used for S1-U connections, and simulate the connection of two S-GWs in the Core Network.
