TOKYO
On February 9, 2018 Artiza Networks held the opening ceremony for its new research and development space, the Artiza Networks Takizawa Development Center. The two-floor building in Takizawa city in northern Japan will house office space for development engineers as well as a laboratory space for developing and testing Artiza’s advanced network equipment technology. Iwate Prefectural University’s (IPU) Innovation Center project was also involved in the planning of the new development center, and the opening marked an exciting step in the partnership between the university and Artiza.
For the ceremony, Artiza welcomed guests from local and prefectural governments, IPU professors and students, as well as business partners from around Japan, the U.S., and Europe. Artiza CEO Takashi Tokonami presented plans for the company’s next generation of mobile network testers. Takizawa’s mayor, Mr. Norihide Yanagimura, the president of IPU, Mr. Atsuto Suzuki, representatives from the Iwate government, Rohde & Schwarz Japan, and several other guests also shared speeches and congratulations.
As 5G networks move rapidly from concept to reality, Artiza’s base station testing technology will be vital to ensuring the stability and functionality of its customers’ network equipment. By increasing development capacity and resources available for product development, Artiza will continue to lead in the next generation of mobile network testing while also fostering the innovation of new products for domestic and overseas markets.
