TOKYO – The CEO of Artiza Networks, Takashi Tokonami, joined speakers from Rohde & Schwarz and Nokia Solutions and Networks to share a comprehensive vision for global development of 5G networks at 5G Congress 2017. Rohde & Schwarz Japan hosted the event at the Tokyo Conference Center in Shinagawa, Tokyo.
Speakers presented their respective companies’ perspectives on challenges faced and visions for upcoming development related to 5G. In his presentation, “Comprehensive 5G RAN Testing,” Mr. Tokonami explained next generation network architecture and the test configurations that will be essential to operators’ and equipment vendors’ efforts to optimize New Radio connectivity on 5G and mixed LTE/5G networks. Tetsu Kouno, Principal Engineer at Artiza Networks, also shared some of the advancements in 5G radio interface simulation that Artiza has made in collaboration with its partners and customers.
Artiza joined the 5G Congress event with partner Rohde & Schwarz to provide their expertise in performance and functional testing of LTE-A eNodeBs, and outline their ongoing development of testing devices for gNodeBs and New Radio interfaces in forthcoming 5G networks.
“Sharing 5G development progress and roadmaps with our partner companies in Europe and Japan is essential for Artiza’s global approach to providing the most advanced RAN testing devices and services as early as possible,” said Mr. Tokonami.
