Leading the Charge

With a standardized vision for 5G on the horizon, the mobile industry is working feverishly with pre-5G technologies and devices to drive the development of the next generation of mobile networks. Standards for a new radio access technology, or New Radio, are forthcoming from 3GPP, and carriers are already considering how to utilize their existing 4G resources in coordination with 5G networks.

In the transition from 4G to 5G, network operators and equipment vendors leading the industry in LTE and LTE-A technologies will hold a clear advantage. Artiza’s DuoSIM-A eNodeB testing solution sets the highest standard among test and measurement vendors for performance testing of eNodeBs.

The advantages of Artiza’s DuoSIM-A in 4G will lead the charge to a fast, smooth deployment of 5G networks:

  • Highest number of individually configured, active UEs
  • Unrivaled stability in supporting the massive capacity and throughput needs of Advanced C-RAN
  • Full support for complex handovers, HetNet configurations, 5CC Carrier Aggregation, MIMO, and more

Partnerships for the Next Generation

Working with our partners and customers in operator and equipment vendor labs around the world, Artiza Networks is already engaged in projects specifically for simulating and testing the new 5G RAN. We keep pace with markets that have already committed to early commercial deployments of 5G technology, ensuring that our products and solutions are market-ready alongside the completion of official 5G standards.

In June 2017, Artiza announced a new partnership with test and measurement company Rohde & Schwarz to collaborate on developing 5G testing solutions for the industry’s most advanced vendors and operators.

We are also members of the Fifth Generation Mobile Communications Promotions Forum (5GMF), a far-reaching platform for us to share and gather information on a wide range of pre-standardization 5G research and development.
